How Often Should You Cleanse?
This is a very good question and one that we get asked often.
The short answer in general is: Doing multiple cleanses, in close succession, is highly recommended.
This is because a cleanse in isolation is a learning process. We learn how the body reacts, how much time we think about food and what our cravings or dependencies are.
No doubt, there are life changing benefits that can be achieved from doing an isolated cleanse. So many of you have shifted bodyweight, reduced bloating, eased gut pain, improved skin and reduced sugar/coffee cravings – which is such a great result!
However, the real magic happens after the Second and Third cleanses are completed, as the positive effects on the body and mind are compounded.

In general, when deciding how often to complete a cleanse we recommend following the phase progression.
1 – 'Change Phase'
This is a time when you have specific goals or insistent health concerns that need to be addressed pronto.
For the 'Change Phase' we recommend a high frequency of cleanses be completed in close proximity to each other, specifically:
- Complete a cleanse weekly (or bi-weekly) four times in a row;
- After the fourth cleanse, assess progress and if needed, continue on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis.
The reason for doing four cleanses in a row is because it takes ~30 days to break old habits and start creating new more desirable ones.
Additionally, the body is very responsive to cleanses in close succession at a physiological and biochemical level, so results will be compounded to fast track results.
The only caveat to following the 'Change Phase' is allowing enough time to rest during the cleanse - if you are in a very busy period personally do the cleanses bi-weekly, not weekly.
When optimal health and improvement have been achieved through the 'Change Phase' we move to the 'Maintenance Phase'.
2 – 'Maintenance Phase'
We recommend completing a cleanse once a month for general maintenance purposes and to solidify all the hard earned progress during the 'Change Phase'.
Completing the cleanse once a month allows sufficient time to mentally detach from the process, whilst at the same time continuing to improving your health and vitality, with the benefits deepening as time goes on.
