Something that we discuss often and address directly with clients is Gut discomfort.
Gut discomfort comes in many forms and whilst being physically painful, it can also be isolating and very frustrating!
Some common symptoms of Gut discomfort are:
- Irregular bowel movements,
- Sluggish digestion,
- Food intolerances,
- Chronic or acute abdomen pain,
- Excess fluid retention,
- Acid reflux (heartburn) and;
- General 'uneasiness' in the tummy.
The annoying thing about Gut discomfort is that it makes everyday life, especially social events, very difficult.
The symptoms can onset hastily with the triggers sometimes being odd and totally random. Trying to decipher what foods, fluids, environments and situations may lead to certain Gut discomfort is frustrating and draining. Ultimately, leading us to feel annoyed and isolated.
It is for this reason that we wanted to share our clients experience, to demonstrate first-hand how Gut discomfort issues can be addressed. This is how Vanessa felt after her Cleanse:
